Associate Professor and the Jean Monnet Chair in Energy and Innovation Strategies
Mr. Michael LaBelle is an associate professor and the Jean Monnet Chair in Energy and Innovation Strategies at Central European University. He holds a joint appointment between the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy and the Department of Economics and Business. His research is centered on energy governance, innovation strategies, and energy justice. His past research focused on policies and regulations behind Central Europe’s energy systems, including geopolitics of gas and neoliberal market reforms.

Mr. Justus Oldenburg received a Diploma degree in physics from Heidelberg University (Germany) and worked for a start-up company in Durham, England, before he began his career at the Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (GRS) in 2009 in Cologne, Germany. GRS is a nonprofit, non-governmental and independent research and expert organization in nuclear safety. In the following years he focused on new reactor designs and respective international developments including improved licensing strategies and prerequisites for nuclear construction projects.
Mr. Francesco Comiti is an associate professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano – Faculty of Science and Technology (Italy) since 2015, where he teaches rural hydrology and hydraulics, management of mountain rivers and mitigation of natural risks.His research interests include sediment transport in mountain rivers, fluvial morphology and river restoration, in-channel wood dynamics, debris flows monitoring, and hydrology of high elevation catchments.
Programme Manager (CEO) of EUROfusion
Mr. Tony Donné is involved in fusion research since 1985. Since June 2014 he is Programme Manager (CEO) of EUROfusion, the consortium coordinating the R&D in the field of fusion science and technology in Europe and which is additionally responsible for the (pre-)conceptual design of the DEMO device.
