The main goal of the 17th annual Conference is to discuss issues and perspectives of Natural Sciences and Energy Sector worldwide; as well as to allow young scientists to develop their skills. Ph. The new online form of the conference brings new challenges as well as new opportunities. It frees our resources and allows us to divert more efforts towards expanding the scope and increasing the reach of the Conference.
To attain these goals, this year Lithuanian Energy Institute (LEI) has partnered with two other top-tier Lithuanian science institutions: Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) and Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC). This partnership is built on years of previous cooperation on identified synergies of their research fields, and is reflected in an expanded list of Topics for the Conference this year.

The structure is there. The organization is great. Everything feels like it’s a big conference, and that is very important to me as a young scientist, to get to know what a conference is about.
L. JASIUNAS (AALBORG UNIVERSITY, DENMARK)
One feature of CYSENI is the review process, which is more structured than in other events I have seen.
J. G. DEDECCA (DELFT UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, NETHERLANDS)
It is very spectacular to see that you have people from more than 12 countries sitting together and disputing about most up-to-date problems of Energy and the Environment. I really love the organization and I hope to be back here next year.
