Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Training: From Idea to Proposal

The network of Horizon Europe National Contact Points (NCPs) for Cluster 5 ‘Climate, Energy and Mobility’ – GREENET will organise a full-day on-site training in May 19, just one day before the 21st International Conference of Young Scientists on Energy and Natural Sciences Issues in the premises of the Lithuanian Energy Institute.

The training is addressed to potential Cluster 5 applicants with no or limited experience in participating in Horizon Europe proposals, from all types of organizations (universities, research organizations, local authorities, enterprises, including SMEs, etc.). Especially welcome are young researchers coming to the CYSENI conference. The training will be a combination of theory with numerous practical exercises, following the logics of application form. The event is free of charge and the working language is English.

The topics to be covered include:
· Introduction to the Horizon Europe Rules of Participation
· Work programme and how to identify important points
· Proposal template
· How to foresee risks during the project lifetime? How is risk management evaluated?
· How to write the impact section?
· Proposal evaluation criteria
· Secrets of budget compilation

The training will also include some motivating surprises and will conclude with a general revision of the material that the participants will work with during the day.
The trainers are Mari Habicht, Cluster 5 NCP from Estonia, Aiga Jonele, Financial NCP and Jolita Česiulytė, Cluster 5 NCP from Lithuania.

The training session will start at 10 AM EET and end at ~5PM EET with lunch and two coffee breaks.
