Mr. Marco Binotti holds a PhD in Energy and nuclear science and technology. He is an assistant professor of “Energy and Environmental Systems” at the School of Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. His research with the Group of Energy Conversion Systems (GECoS) mainly deals with techno-economic analysis and simulation of concentrating solar power systems, renewables and advanced energy conversion systems. He has been involved in European projects dealing with techno-economic assessment of innovative technologies for CO2 capture (CAESAR), hydrogen production (BIONICO) and energy conversion system based on supercritical CO2 cycles (sCO2-flex). He is the coordinator of BIONICO. He’s author of over fifteen papers published on peer-reviewed journals.
